Mea Vita
A soul kneels at heaven’s door, patient even as hell closes in, and promises to wait for eternity.

So I’ll kneel in front of god
Beg him
for a moment
to stand in front of heaven’s door I’ll hope I have enough virtues
To listen to your melody
As the paradise of hell engulfs me I’ll wait for you
As I stand in front of heaven’s door
Patiently
For eternities to come.
